Most, if not all of us, have gotten into the middle of a project only to find we didn’t have the right tool to finish or the problem we started trying to fix was much bigger than we expected. Sometimes, instead of jumping into the middle of a situation to fix it, we would be better off starting from scratch at the foundation. Often, in our lives as well as our projects, it is not that we need a to make a simple repair.Men, we need to rip out the walls and completely Renovate. The issues that threaten to destroy us call for more than duct tape, stopping leaks and other quick fixes. As husbands, fathers, friends and leaders, there is far too much at stake. Bring your sledgehammers, your pick axes, and your nail guns. Together, let’s break our lives down, past the walls we’ve built up, to the studs and the slab.
Let’s rebuild on a Biblical foundation:
o Lives that have no secret rooms where Jesus is not welcome.
o Lives full of light, that freely conduct the current of His power.
o Lives that make our friends, family, and most importantly, our Lord feel at home.
